A rainy forecast and early low-tide forced an early start for a Sunday, but it turned out to be really nice.

The wind was due to pick up, but I rigged a 6.4m for the current conditions, and that turned out to be a good move. There was a nice friendly crowd out, mostly on 5.4 - 5-8, but the wind was quite up and down so a well-downhauled 6.4 was perfect for me.

We all had to rush for the beach as a big rainy squall came through and killed the wind, but the sun came out afterwards which was unexpected and nice!

A nice hour on the water and much better than expected.
